It's 'almost' that time . . .

At least, if you walk in to any of the major Box stores, that's what they want us to think!  I guess it is November . . . maybe I'm the one who is behind in all of this!

 Nkosazana  (Princess)

One of my newest pieces.
Maybe it will fit on to your 'Wish List' or your 'Gifts needed for . . .' list.  :)

Helping the Victims of Hurricane Sandy

I would have donated jewelry but only 2-dimensional work can be auctioned off on this site ~ which is understandable since it is 'Daily Paintworks!

Rooster Man

We all know about the sadness and devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy and many of us have wondered how we can help.  There is a great website called 'Daily Paintworks.com' which is currently hosting an online Auction to help the victims of Sandy.  For Artists, you can go on and donate a painting and designate where you would like the money to go (i.e. Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc.).  For those of you that would like to donate to a good cause AND get a great piece of Artwork at the same time, you can go on and bid on any painting shown that you like.  Most of the bidding for the Artwork donated starts as low as $25 ~ some even less.  Most of the work is smaller in size, like my donation of 'Rooster Man' above ~ he's just 6"x6", but it keeps the donations and purchases doable for many and also the shipping costs down.  It's a win win situation for everyone.

Here is the link ~ when you have a moment, please go check it out.  You'll be helping an important cause and get some great art in return.
