SOME CHANGES MADE . . .

Besides two Blogs, one for my Fine Art and one for my Jewelry, I also had two Websites ~ one for each.  I just finished redoing my Fine Art Website by adding a section for my Jewelry.  I also eliminated my Jewelry Website.  I decided it was probably better to have everything in one place making it easier for people to find what they were looking for without having to go to two different places.  Now, if you click on the link over on the right it will take you to the Jewelry section of my Website.  I will still keep both Blogs though, and will highlight new work on each.

These are two pieces I just finished today.  You can find more information on them by clicking here and going to my Website.

La Paz  (13008)

Two strands hold three different shapes of luscious 'Yellow' Turquoise (which is actually more in the Lime Family) accented with a gorgeous melon shade of African Vulcanite Heishi and two styles of African Trade Beads.  The Brass Focal is from Kenya.  Closes with an easy to open/close Toggle Clasp.  Matching Earrings with Surgical Steel Earwires included.

Lime Sunset

Wonderful Pumpkin shaped Lime 'New Jade' Beads accented with large Beads of Matte Blackstone, Brass Heishi, and two styles of African Trade Beads.  Matching earrings available.  Fastens with an easy to close/open Toggle Clasp.

Sorry, I've been a little lax . . .

I apologize for being so lax in getting news and new pieces on to this blog.  Too many irons in the fire as  they say . :(  I keep hoping that will change but the key here is 'I' have to change it!

Here a couple of new pieces just finished . . .

Hedy
This is from a piece I re-worked.  I liked the previous version but I think this probably has a little more pizazz to it even though it is all the same beads ~ they are just re-strung in a more fun fashion.  This piece is made up of African Trade Beads (Brass), Recycled Krobo glass (Ghana) and lovely large nuggets of shimmering Labradorite. For more information please go to my website here

Another piece I just put on  . . .

Caliende
This piece is made of Red Coral Nuggets, Magnesite, Black Matte Glass, Brass Heishi and Silver-plated large inscribed Metal Beads.  The Focal is Red Coral and Black Matte Glass.  For more information on this piece please go to my website here.

This piece I recently donated to the 'Hospice of North Idaho Annual Wine Gala' for their Fundraising Auction.  The Event takes place, Saturday Feb. 2nd so if you are in the area  you just might want to participate!  Having had the experience of using their services I can tell you it is more than a worthy cause.  Wonderful organization and wonderful people.

This piece is made of Dalmatir Stone, Black Onyx and African Trade Beads. and has matching earrings.

That's it for today!

It's 'almost' that time . . .

At least, if you walk in to any of the major Box stores, that's what they want us to think!  I guess it is November . . . maybe I'm the one who is behind in all of this!

 Nkosazana  (Princess)

One of my newest pieces.
Maybe it will fit on to your 'Wish List' or your 'Gifts needed for . . .' list.  :)
